CETA Certification Program

The Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts (ESTA) offers a Certified ESTA Technical Analyst (CETA) program, a professional certification in Technical Analysis. This program is officially recognized by the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA), making it one of the most prestigious technical analysis certifications available.

CETA holds a unique position globally, as it is the third accredited certification after those of Japan and Australia to be recognized as equivalent to the Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) credential awarded by IFTA.

Program Structure

The CETA program is designed for individuals seeking a comprehensive and structured education in technical analysis. It consists of three levels, with candidates required to pass an exam at the end of each level before progressing to the next stage.

The program equips candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to:

• Analyze market movements and their underlying causes.
• Identify false signals and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Make informed trading and investment decisions based on technical analysis principles.

The CETA certification is highly rigorous and demanding, requiring significant effort and dedication from candidates.

Examination Structure

• Level 1: Multiple-choice questions.
• Level 2: Combination of multiple-choice, short-answer, and essay questions.
• Level 3: Primarily essay-based questions.
• Passing Grade: 70% for each level.

Enrollment Process

To enroll in the CETA program, candidates must first become an ESTA member. Due to high demand, prospective candidates are required to register on a waiting list by contacting the ESTA office. ESTA will then reach out to applicants in the order of registration as slots become available.
